Pearlescent powder is a fine, satin-like powder, which is used in dry form applied as a delicately shimmering eye shadow or as a highlight on the face and décolleté. Pearlescent powder pigments are not just very intense bright color pigments, but they give the makeup a glamorous, shiny metallic effect.
Pearlescent powder can be applied both dry with a powder puff and moist with a powder brush, sponge or brush. In combination with mixed liquid pearlescent powder ("pigments") can also be used for airbrush work.
